Apple WWDC aka World Wide Developer Conference, a yearly event held every year in June. For past couple of years Apple WWDC has become center of attentions for tech industry, all thanks to new software and technologies announcements. Though the lately Apple is making the new product announcements via special events, but still WWDC has held its importance since the new software announcements are still made at WWDC.

This year WWDC 2013 will be held on June 10 to 14 at San Francisco, Moscone Center. Despite being developer oriented event, the Apple enthusiasts also closely follow this event. Unfortunately Apple do not live stream WWDC keynote event and only way to follow WWDC 2013 is by monitoring all the tech blogs covering event live online.

Though it is least likely that Apple will announce any new physical product at WWDC 2013 but rumors are pretty wild ranging from iPhone 5S, iPad Mini 2 , iRadio, iWatch, iOS 7 to OS X 10.9.

We can only speculate but only time will tell what Apple has in store for us. Apple WWDC 2013 Schedule Announced, Dates Set for June 10-14

Apple WWDC aka World Wide Developer Conference is the yearly event and takes in June every year. Though WWDC has become platform for Apple to announce new products, but past three years has seen a special event prior to WWDC for new product announcement and WWDC has been mainly used to iOS and Max OS update announcements.

However, this year it seems at WWDC 2013 Apple might announce new category of product such as smartwatch or Apple TV. The announcement of WWDC 2013 schedule has been made today.

This year WWDC 2013 will commence from June 10^th through to June 14 at the Moscone West in San Francisco. Along with event schedule announcement, Apple has also announced that WWDC 2013 tickets will also go on sale from tomorrow.

Here is what Apple says about WWDC 2013,

Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 on iPhone 4, 3GS and iPod Touch 4G (Tethered)

Few hours ago we had posted about iOS 6.1.3 final released for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. We also noted that it fixes the Evasi0n untethered jailbreak and at any cost you do not update to iOS 6.1.3 if you care about your jailbreak.

Unfortunately despite many warnings, often many iOS devices owners ends up updating to iOS 6.1.3 unknowingly or accidentally. Thanks to limera1n bootrom exploit iPhone 4, 3GS and iPod Touch 4G users can still get the tethered jailbreak.

Please Keep in mind iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak is tethered jailbreak, meaning you will need to tethered boot every time you reboot/turn on your device.

How to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3

1. If you haven’t updated your iPhone 4/3GS, iPod Touch 4G to iOS 6.1.3 then update using iTunes.

2. Take backup of your iPhone and iPod Touch using iTunes.

3. Now run Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 jailbreak tool (Must run as administrator mode on Windows)

4. Now click on Extras and Select IPSW button

5. Now browse and select iOS 6.0 IPSW respective for your device and click on open button. Press Ok button on firmware build information

6. Now click back button and press jailbreak button

7. At this stage Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 will prepare jailbreak data.

8. On options screen must check Install Cydia option.

9. Now connect your iPhone/iPod Touch to Mac/PC using USB cable and turn off

10. Click on next button on Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 and follow on screen instructions to put it in DFU mode

a. Press and hold power and home button for 10 seconds

b. Now release power button while continue to hold home button for 20 seconds

11. Once your iPhone/iPod touch is in DFU mode, Redsn0w will start uploading jailbreak data, ramdisk etc. and continue will jailbreak process.

12. A message will be displayed that this is tethered jailbreak and you will need to tethered boot every time you reboot your device

13. Now the rest of jailbreak process will take place on your device

14. Once your device reboots you won’t see Cydia until you tethered boot using following process.

How to Tethered boot after iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak

1. Start Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 and click on extras button

2. Now click on Select IPSW button and browse and select iOS 6.0 IPSW file. Click on open button and press ok button on firmware build information.

3. Now click on Just Boot option

4. Now connect your iOS device to PC/Mac and turn off

5. Follow on screen instructions to put in DFU mode

6. That’s it, once your iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4G reboots you will notice that Cydia is installed.

Enjoy your newly jailbroken iPhone 4 iOS 6.1.3, iPhone 3GS iOS 6.1.3 and iPod Touch 4G iOS 6.1.3.

Finally after few initial betas, today Apple has released final version of iOS 6.1.3 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The final version of iOS 6.1.3 comes with major improvements to maps in Japan. Also Apple has fixed the a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app. The complete change log for iOS 6.1.3 is available here.

Jailbreakers must stay away from iOS 6.1.3 as it also patches the exploit used by evasi0n untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.1.1, 6.1.2. iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 4, iPad Mini, iPad 3 and 2 users updating to iOS 6.1.3 will lose their jailbreaks though A4 devices such as iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G does have option of tethered jailbreak as soon as Redsn0w is updated to support iOS 6.1.3.

Method 1: Manual Update

1. Download iOS 6.1.2 IPSW file respective to your iOS device.

2. Now connect your iOS device to PC/Mac

3. Start iTunes and click on your device from top navigation menu.

4. Now click on Backup Now to take the complete backup of your device.(This step is important as your will lose all your personal data and only way to get back is to restore to this backup)

5. Now press shift key and click on Update button on Windows

On Mac press and hold Option key and click on update button

6. Now browse and select iOS 6.1.2 IPSW file downloaded in step 1
