InteVyDis Releases Paid Untethered iOS 5.1.1 Jailbreak Solution

While we all are excited and eagerly waiting for Pod2G to release Absinthe 2.0 iOS 5.1.1 Jailbreak tool which supports all iOS devices including The New iPad aka iPad 3 and iPhone 4S, the only device will be left out from treat is Apple TV 3, at the same time InteVyDis has released untethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak for A4 devices i.e iPhone 4 and iPad 1, iPod Touch 4G and Apple TV 2G.

The jailbreak solution, vulndisco mobile 1.7 released by InteVyDis is paid solution and not free like iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team has been releasing. There are no words on pricing yet but as per InteVyDis tweet the jailbreak solution is up and available for purchase.

Though it should be good news for jailbreak community but unfortunate side of this release is preciously pointed out by MuscleNerd.

@ @ @ the most troublesome part is that (potentially) close to 2x as many exploits will be burned now with 2 A4 JBs

With release of this jailbreak, community has wasted more exploits which could have been saved for later firmware release expected at WWDC 2012.

Here is demo video of untethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak for iPhone 4 using InteVyDis solution. This tool basically creates custom firmware for iOS 5.1.1 which you can then update using Redsn0w jailbreak tool.

Unlike free jailbreak tools like Absinthe, Redsn0w and Snowbreeze which comes with complete solution and at the end you have Cydia insatalled on your iOS device, InteVyDis jailbreak solution will only let you have root access and not Cydia.

We suggest don’t waste your money on this paid untethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak tool or time on searching for download links for vulndisco mobile 1.7. Wait for day or two as Pod2G is almost ready with absinthe 2.0 untethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak.
