Apple iOS 5.0.1 Released to Fix Battery Life
Although iPhone 4S was released with bigger battery and more battery life was pinched as selling point for iPhone 4S but in reality many users found opposite to this, iPhone 4S was draining battery quickly. As a result of this Apple support forum saw flood of reports, reporting poor battery life not only on iPhone 4S but also on older devices running iOS 5.0.
Bowing down to the reports, Apple quickly developed a fix to battery life issue as an iOS 5.0.1 update and was seeded to developers on November 3r and second beta was seeded on November 5th and today Apple has released iOS 5.0.1 to public.

Users on iOS 5 can update to iOS 5.0.1 using OTA update which is less than 50 MB. Go to Settings-Genera-Software Update and tap on Downlaod & Install. Do make sure you have good connectivity for smooth OTA update.
