Jailbreak For iPhone 5 On iOS 6.1.4 Achieved [Not Yet Ready For Release]

The last jailbreak, Evasi0n brought the jailbreak party to all existing iOS devices running iOS 6.x, however the party shortlived with Apple patching the untethered jailbreak by releasing iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4. Since then jailbreak devs have shifted their focus on iOS 7 jailbreak since the major release is around the corner. But that doesn’t mean the work for iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak is stopped. Few days back we had reported about iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak for A4 devices achieved by Winocm.

At that time we had reported that jailbreak is not meant for iPhone 5. Well the good news is here for iPhone 5 device owners. It seems Winocm has managed to get his exploits working on iPhone 5 and so is the jailbreak possible for iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4.

Below is the screenshot that Winocm posted, the screenshot is about Cydia running on iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4,

Do keep in mind this  only means that jailbreak for iOS 6.1.4 on iPhone 5 is very well possible but doesn’t mean that it is ready for release. In order to get the public jailbreak it needs to be tested on variety of devices and should be easy to run than running complicated commands and involving multiple steps.

This news is also good for those who didn’t like Apple iOS 7 flat icons and design and want to stay back on iOS 6.1.4. There is no ETA of iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak, we ask you to stay tuned with us for further news on iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak release.
