Redsn0w 0.9.14b2 Released with Improved iPad Baseband Downgrade Support
Back in mid-June, iPhone Dev Team had gifted iPad baseband downgrade tool,Redsn0w 0.9.14b1. The primary reason behind letting iPad 06.15.00 downgrade is to let them flash 05.13.04 baseband which is still unlockable and fully compatible with Ultrasn0w unlock tool. One more advantage of flashing 05.13.04 baseband is, you can restore to stock firmware and have working GPS, which has been troublesome for many on iPad 06.15 baseband.
However, the initial release of Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 had limited support for iPhone 3GS but with today’s release of new and improved version of Redsn0w 0.9.14b2 will overcome all the issues faced while downgrading iPad baseband on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3GS.
Another most demanded feature added to Redsn0w 0.9.14b2 is DFU IPSW, for those who have broken home/power button or intermittent. Now redsn0w will enter DFU mode as long s iPhone is healthy enough to restore to normal IPSW and this doesn’t require jailbroken iPhone at all.
